first extract - no flavor!

Ok, I followed the recipe (Dark Horse Pale ale from B&W) and nailed the OG. 8 days in and airlock is stopped.
FG matches the estimate from the recipe. But there is almost no flavor! Should go ahead and bottle?

per some of the advice Ive gotten from here I would give it the carboy a swirl and reactivate however much of the yeast as possible to finish it out. Be warned though, Im only 2 batches in as well  Im not familiar with that extract kit, but with mine I didn't have a problem with lack of flavor... hmmm no hops OR malt? :?:
Drinking:
MoreBeer Stout
Cascade Honey Pale Ale

Primary: Payback Porter (B3 Brown Porter Kit with mini-mash addition)

On deck: Ye Olde Dwarf Tosser No.2 (Wee Heavy ver. 2.0), and ???

I've noticed that uncarbonated beer seems to lack some of the "brilliance" of flavor of a final product. Don't worry too much until you get it conditioned and carbonated in the bottle...

Thanks. Yeah, I thought about that. I'm over-worrying it, like I did with my first mead. :)
